Most baby shower decor gets thrown away at the end of the afternoon. An engraved mirror does not — it goes home, hangs in the nursery, and becomes something the family keeps. That is the difference between decor and a gift.
We engrave welcome signs, dessert and favor table signage, and personalized keepsake pieces with the baby’s name and date. Soft script, clean modern type, or something in between.
The most requested is a welcome sign at the entrance — something like “Welcome to the Holdway Baby Shower” with the date beneath. Beyond that, smaller mirrors work beautifully for a dessert table, a wish or advice station, and favor tables.
For reveals, we can engrave wording that works before and after the announcement. For keepsakes, many families choose the baby’s name and birth date, which turns the piece into nursery decor rather than party decor. If you are ordering as a gift and are not sure what to put on it, ask — we do this often.

Four to six weeks is comfortable. If your shower is sooner, reach out anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet the date.

That is exactly how we like to design them. If you tell us you want it to live on, we will steer the wording away from event-specific language so it reads as decor rather than a dated party sign.
The engraving itself is a single tone on glass, but we absolutely design the lettering and any decorative elements to complement your palette and theme. Send an inspiration photo and we will work from it.
